I the wires connect to them on one end and I have the end with the wire on it deepest into the brush casing. There's a youtube video but it's a different model, but it does have the end of the brush closest to the wire closest to the center so maybe the reversal will work. Well, bright side is I'm learning a lot about DC motors. I'll also take a photo tomorrow for anyone dealing with this in the future. Forgot to take the phone up on on the roof with me today.
