Hey, my batteries follow a first-order approximation of the laws of electronics when subjected to a current step function. I've done enough current step measurements on batteries to know it's correct.
Try me with some calculus if you can. One can always break down a complicated formula into a few dominate components to obtain a first-order approximation. Are you telling me that battery resistance is not the dominate factor for instantaneous voltage rise?
