Michelin tire recall

Dunno what's meant by "silent recall", but here's one that was right out loud:

As I remember his story, it was a voluntary mfr. recall of some OE ST's on his fiver that led ShelterBay Chris ("Me Again") to his first set of Michelin Ribs. I remember his account of getting the recall notice, and putting the full refund he received down on those Ribs.
