Yes, I expected to be happy.
Without the microair, and with the autoformer the red overload light on the inverter charger stayed OFF.
But with the microair, and with the autoformer the red overload light
came ON.
Also, the "nature" of the compressor motor spin up changed. Without microair I could "hear" the compressor motor getting a boost in speed, as the autoformer clicked in. With the microair that no longer happened.
Hence my disappointment.
As within 24 hours I'll be making my first "hot air" trip and I'll be at the 50 amp pedestal that I did the initial testing on, I'll be observing if the tweaking of the autoformer does what I hope.
I may do some testing with the generator, too.
