Microwave and TV Power - Need help troubleshooting

A few (nutty) inverters are hard wired in place and the power flows through the inverter first--I think this is a stupid design choice.

What does an inverter have to do with it?

Sounds like you tripped the breaker of the circuit you are plugged into.

Agree. Microwave runs on 120 vac, not battery. Look for tripped GFCI outlet. Or if on 50 amp service, check to see if you lost one leg of the 50 amp outlet.

Maybe area power outage? Anybody near you have power?

Where are you located?

No power to microwave, TV's and refrigerator. Fridge switched to gas.

Could my house batteries be bad?

Ok, turned them completely off and back on and nothing. No power to microwave or TV's.
