Microwave

So we have a highpoint Microwave and the last couple of trips we would be hooked up to 30 amp power and we had everything off except for a couple of lights..Whsn we ran the microwave for more than a couple minutes it would just shut off and not turn back on for another 15-20 minutes...Never tripped any breakers and no fuses were blown

    Take some measirements and go shopping. New microwaves are pretty cheap now days. Definitely not worth trying to fix.

    It sounds like there is some thermal protection device in the MV that is over heating and needs to cool between uses.

    Does the MV have sufficient room for cooling? I believe ours has an internal fan that needs proper air flow.

    its a 2015 camper purchased brand new..looks like ill take in before winter bc i still have a warranty till january...Maybe run the oven vent while microwave is on

    Did they forget to put in the cooling fan? I also have a HighPoint microwave in the RV and i never hear a fan running like the one in our house kitchen.
    However it has not stopped running as of yet.

    Don't start a sentence with So. Sounds like you say So What! New ones are $44 at Target.

    just put in a new microwave and it works great..Im guessing this highpoint was junk from the start
