Our Dometic 24" microwave made by LG has quit heating. Has anyone put an LG microwave in to replace a Dometic? Do the back holes for venting work? We don't want to put any new holes in the exterior. ...

Not necessary to replace like for like. When ours died, best buy had exactly what we needed in a samsung. Yea, needed to drill a couple new holes and relocate the mounting bracket, but oh well, still did not take that long, and we got a better microwave in the process.
