**UPDATE #2**
So after a trip to Nanaimo Home Depot to procure 20Amp connectors, I now have the charger operating. I had to extend the pendant wiring myself (no-one sells extension cords with those connectors :M). After using the inverter to beat on the battery bank for a while so I could really test the charger, I did get the XBM to show up to 67Amps going into the bank. Mind you I had a bunch of lights on plus the stereo going, hence not seeing the full output to the bank. But, it appears to be operating normally.
I will monitor its operation on an ongoing basis. We are planning a camping trip this weekend, so that might be a good test as well.
