I have all my batteries inside. I built a vented box for the flooded pair. They are located on opposite sides so about 6' apart. I ran the battery wiring in a 2" ABS pipe underneath the trailer. I really like the locations as I don't have to worry about battery security and I have an appropriate amount of tongue weight.
