"My Northstar AGM has a resting full charge voltage of 13.06v. I would not want to leave it in parallel with a flooded battery whose OCV is 12.7X"
Ok, now we are getting to the nitty- gritty :) So why not float them both, if the float voltage is 13.6? Does that not cover both as time2roll says? Just add water to the flooded if required?
Anyway, floating is easy to get around by using two different chargers on them separated. What matters is what happens while camping doing 50-90s off grid, or when on solar doing say 75-95s.
Edit--we can get away with 75-95s (20%) in the summer with little furnace, but need 50-90s (40%) in winter with no solar and lots of furnace.
