BFL13, as you know in our RV I have been mixing a liquid acid battery with a couple of AGMs for years -> one liquid acid engine starting battery paralleled up with the two AGMs in the coach hour after hour when traveling.
The solenoid hooks them all up together in parallel with each other. However, they don't get discharged or floated all paralleled together, only charged by the alternator all paralleled together.
