(it needs the batts to be really low to go into boost, same as a WFCO, but if you are in a hurry, you have the Shu, and you follow it with solar anyway, so you don't care that the PM3 drops to 13.6 as soon as it gets to 14.6 should it ever do boost in the first place)
Bottom line is you could well be happy with a PM3 version AFAIK. It has its place for some ways of Rving.
(I have the PM3-100, but I took the lid off and cranked up the internal voltage pot to 14.8, so now it acts like a 100a Vector, but to be a 13.6 converter I would have to crank that voltage back down---you are not looking at that sort of thing )
