Spent Sunday & MONDAY drilling holes and pulling wire, the Blue Sky 2000e is now mounted and connected to the batteries, ran the four ga wires thru wardrobe (under the drawers) then down to batteries, ran the eight ga thru the fridge compartment to the basement where I put the controller
At 12:30 it was charging at 9.2 amps, On Saturday at same time of day the charge was 8.39 with the battery minder controller, that's a 9.65% increase,
Two weeks ago? It was over 10amps, the angle of the sun has changed enough ? (in just two weeks?) that the output has been reduced by two amps
I only used the meter display on the blue sky
Tomorrow I will use my clamp on amp digital amp meter and maybe mount my shuntless amp meter and compare the readings
The eight ga panel run was 13ft. , however the 4ga battery run came in at 14ft. , it was 9ft. Horizontal controller to batteries, but the vertical distances plus the flex at the battery tray and the extra left at the controller side so I can "connect" the other bank ( when I install it ) made the total lenght longer than the initial estimate, I could perhaps shorten it two feet at the controller end, but that is the slack needed for.connecting the secondary bank , the controller cannot accept any bigger lugs or larger wire than the 4ga I used
