I have the manual
Not running the generator in the morning, would mean using the inverter ( sucking more battery power ) to make coffee and make breakfast, and drag the batteries down more, mean while the solar is doing only a few amps at best,
So until I get more solar the bulk amps (when available) are a help nothing more, the generator is still a must use situation, so I get some heavy duty.bulk amps while having my coffee then let the solar pick up what it can and handle the "top off " bringing the batteries closer to 100% , so I'm not doing 50% > 80% everyday and sulphating the batteries, I'm doing 60% ยป 95%-100%, let the solar try to hold the level up during the day,
I've got to burn fuel daily, so I choose to burn when I get the most efficient use "at morning", getting max amps charge in for the.fuel consumed, charging & cooking
Maybe next summer, I can charge solar first ,.but not until then , not with out more solar,
I have a long way to go before solar will be.doing.most of the charge work, relegating the generators to backup duty and power tool usage
No I don't want to use a french press, and.no I don't want to cook on the stove every.morning, heck I even microwave the bacon, dammit now you've made me hungry
Time for some ham & swiss
