Boost mode ?
AFAIK: Mppt power conversion occurs when the panel voltage is high enough to create power that would be wasted by just knocking the voltage down from 17v to 14v
Cloudy overcast weather means the panels are not putting out full and the batteries are taking everything there is
The 2000e has adjustable peak charge voltage and adjustable voltage difference , adjusting these will change the mppt setting
The " Morning star Duo " has auxiliary output sharing, to see power to another place, batteries or 12v load
To put 1200 watts on an rv roof is quite a feat, new 130w panels are about 10sq ft., so 900 sq ft of open space would be needed for the nine panels needed for 1170 watts
Amazon has the.Sun Force 30a mppt controller for $95 it popped up on my amazon page when I was on there earlier
Sun Force 30amp MPPT solar controller14.2 is not to high for float "for me" as my batteries are always being used, even if it's only the inverter resting in "sense mode" or my meters drawing a few milliamps
I think the Sun Force and other controllers have a fixed 13.8 float mode,
