Depends on what you consider too big. For me, 500 to 600Ah would do it. That's two Lifeline 12V 8D AGM's (510Ah) or four Trojan 12V T-1275's (600Ah). Both weigh 300 lbs. In my case, if I subtract the two batts already there, I'm only adding ~180 lbs to the trailer. Not enough weight increase to consider. I don't know what kind of RV you have but I have a lightweight 30' 5er that weighs 8000 lbs ready to camp. Anyways, something to consider.
