One thing that may apply to what I see /don't see on SG is that on the Vector recondition mode, the battery voltage does not go up while it is happening. Battery voltage IIRC is ? 13v ? steady when it is running for the 24hr recondition cycle. Others may have more accurate info on that.
So it does not charge the battery as such. If 'charging' is making the electrolyte more acidic, then 'reconditioning' ought to raise the battery voltage????
