The two infinitum desupfators that I ordered last week arrived today: DHL left them at my door at 6:30 AM! (Thanks DHL for not ringing the door bell but the dogs let me know you were here!!)
Connected one to a 12 AH AGM that had beens left sitting for a year or so, along with a 900 MA so called automatic charger. We'll see what that looks like tomorrow. Voltage at the moment there is 13.2 Started at 12.3 half an hour ago.
The other I just put on a bank or 2 volt cells that I have been trying to rejuvenate with a 1 Amp regulated supply with voltage set at 16.V for the last two weeks. It's voltage had come up to 15.84 but dropped quickly (to below 14) when the charger was removed.
I reset the power supply voltage to 14.4 and connected the infinitium. Start voltage was 13.9 and within 15 minutes is up to 14.4
I'll leave this sit for a while and watch the sg (1.125 at the moment). If no change I'll put a real charger on and take it from there.
I'll copy some of this to a previous post I had on these batteries.
