Ok, I went off.the deep end? Bought 3 used 37watt uni-solar panels and a blue sky 2000e controller for the hefty price of $400, They were being listed as 75w panels, they are not The tested open...

my largest panel is 60 watts
I have (2) 60w, (3) 40w all 5 are unisolar brand
and I have 4 preexisting panels that total 80w (IIRC from faded memory)

10.60 amps peak 145 watts
I know my location is not optimal on the solar radiation pattern maps
but the numbers/percentage on those maps is higher than what I was getting
today is another day like yesterday with partly hazy sky
I'm looking forward to a totally clear sunny day to see what the new total output is
as I write this the charge rate is 13.61 amps 185w the peak so far is 14.21 amps 187.6w
and not yet 11am
