Ok, I went off.the deep end? Bought 3 used 37watt uni-solar panels and a blue sky 2000e controller for the hefty price of $400, They were being listed as 75w panels, they are not The tested open...

just came back from a drive over to Slymar Ca,
were I purchased (4) 42w unisolar panels for $200 and he thru in a Xantrex C40 charge controller
yes the panels are used he said Ten yrs of service on his ham shack
the production dates are 2001 on the panels and july 2004 on the the C40 controller
I tested them for voc , rating is 23v they tested 21.6>22.2
short circuit amps rating 3.17
tested 2.0> 2.5 without full sun
I think there going to be Okay
this is going to fill out the roof and Max out the Blue Sky controller
