Ok, I went off.the deep end? Bought 3 used 37watt uni-solar panels and a blue sky 2000e controller for the hefty price of $400, They were being listed as 75w panels, they are not The tested open...

this is my roof
unisolar thin film panels..bought used off craigs list
blue sky 2000e mppt controller because it came with the first group of panels i bought
stuck with parallel unless i buy a controller with a higher input voltage..i have thought about it
my brackets are a little "low", i would like them to be a little taller with more roof clearance for cooling effect and LESS debris collection..leaves twigs etc.. get caught up there
new model mono or poly panels would give twice the wattage for the same covered roof space
in other words my 60watt panels are the same size as a new 120w panel
but i do like the low light characteristics of these panels
