Mounting inverter in close proximity to AGM batteries

I'm mounting a 2000W Xantrex inverter in my Pleasureway Excel. By far the most practical place to put it is next to my 4 AGM batteries. That's where the transfer switch is and all the other wiring. ...

I have mine within a foot of 6 AGM batteries with no problems. No gassing = corrosion. But I keep an I on it every time I open the compartment. Chino
