Mounting inverter in close proximity to AGM batteries

I'm mounting a 2000W Xantrex inverter in my Pleasureway Excel. By far the most practical place to put it is next to my 4 AGM batteries. That's where the transfer switch is and all the other wiring. ...

Need a low power heat pump as it should put 2x the heat in the RV per watt in mild conditions as compared to resistance heater.
Even so probably not realistic compared to propane.
