Mounting inverter in close proximity to AGM batteries

I'm mounting a 2000W Xantrex inverter in my Pleasureway Excel. By far the most practical place to put it is next to my 4 AGM batteries. That's where the transfer switch is and all the other wiring. ...

Those really quiet generators can be heard for miles. Also no one would attempt to get to 100% state of charge using a generator unless they had no other choice. Solar folks routinely get to 100% if the system is a good "fit" for their needs.

My needs are dramatically higher for 120 volt power than most. That is my choice. If I wish, I can reduce my demand so that I run out of fresh water before I run out of electricity.
