Mounting inverter in close proximity to AGM batteries

I'm mounting a 2000W Xantrex inverter in my Pleasureway Excel. By far the most practical place to put it is next to my 4 AGM batteries. That's where the transfer switch is and all the other wiring. ...

Having a filter on air intake - when it's low like on off-road caravans - won't help with anything but dust unless it's a filter rated MERV 12 or higher. Wouldn't be a very common thing on civilian vehicles.
