While I'm enjoying this pastry fight I'd like to throw my $.02 in on the issue of neighbors' exhaust and CO. If I was in a CG where I could smell the exhaust from close neighbors, I would INCREASE the ventilation and use fans to ensure that the CO got thoroughly mixed with non-contaminated air. I would NOT shut in the RV, and I would especially not rely on a roof fan to find uncontaminated air. I would assume ALL air was slightly contaminated and with thorough mixing the CO level would drop as CO converted to O2 and carbon.
And I would check both my CO detectors!
If I was in a parking-lot style CG--such as you find at ski areas--backed up against a high snowbank on one side and wedged between two tall MH's, and one or both of them were stupidly running their gennies, and I couldn't get them to stop--I would simply move. In a situation like that, there is a genuine--although still very low--risk of waking up dead.
