Back to the diversion, CO is roughly the same weight as air, which is part of the problem. CO in exhaust will rise with the wamrer exhaust. If there was an elevated risk of CO in the air outside, pulling air through the roof vent into an enclosed RV is only going to make it worse. If your CO alarm goes off it's trying to tell you something.
