Multiple Batteries in Parallel
I have several regular 12v batteries that are different sizes. Can I safely hook them up in parallel without damaging any of them?

All it is for it to run some lights. Basically, I have an old trailer on blocks and for the summer, at night when it is still too hot for fuel lights, I want to turn a switch for light.
That should work IMO, but old time lights add up. 3 amps for two bulbs. You have "several" batteries, so if you had two little ones you could parallel them as one bigger 12 and parallel that with a full size 12. That would put less strain on any one little one.
