I like it! Now you just have to put castors on the bottom of the panels so you can swivel it easily to aim it at the sun whenever you go by it during the day. :)
BTW your reason for going panel-direct sometimes is to get the batts to a higher voltage than the controller will allow. You can even try for an Equalize if you are out more than a month. Of course you might need to do only part of the bank at once so the 100w will get it done before dark. But at least you have the max flex to do it.
Once you reach batt 15v and your inverter quits, you can go back to controller to calm things down.
