Different lengths. In checking sun tables, I think I can get by with just two, for 45º and 30º or thereabouts. They won't be perfect, but you don't have to be perfect with the angle of incidence from what I can find. I would not be changing the lengths during a given day. Just for different times of year.
I looked at designs with adjustable legs, but it's not as easy as it seems. Nor stable. With the C-channel frames on my panels, I decided my solution was a good KISS one.
