I had a Siemans 100 watt panel and used it as a 'portable', chasing the sun around all day, IMO it was a waste of time. I got 7 amps or something out of it (it was a long time ago) but if the angle was off by 45* it was about half of that.
I think a person needs a min of 200 watts worth of panels to really do any good, I sold it and bought my Honda Gennny.
