My Fridge burps!!

A thermo cube from most any hardware store......energizes at 35*F/shuts off at 45*F----$13



Light bulb socket.....hardware store....$2



Might have to change out fridge outlet from single to duplex.

Hardest part will be finding a 60W incandescent bulb :B

No problems, even when the OAT is below -20°F.

Thanks for the the responses. I am on the beach in Mexico so it is not a cold weather issue. I will talk to the cooling unit supplier about this. Thanks to all.

Check the obvious and simplest first. Are your condensation drain tubes or ice maker line partially obstructed?

Other than the slight noise from the LP flame and/or fans........absorption fridges don't make noises unless they have blockage.

Gurgling noises only happen when the cooling medium has to slip by partial blockage in tubes as it cycles.

Gurgling noises are NOT good especially in a 2 month old replacement cooling unit.

Who did replacement?
Where did replacement cooling unit come from?
Need to contact them ASAP and have another cooling unit installed while under warranty!!!

A bad cooling unit sometimes makes a gurgling sound. Your new cooling unit might be on it's way out.

Good one Rainbird!!! Beer is kept in the outside fridge(aka my neighbours favorite fridge). And no I have not locked the dog in the fridge by mistake!! lol
