From the factory, my 460 produces 245 HP. Add the banks power pack and it produced about 300 HP at the flywheel.
I blocked off 25% of the radiator and drove in 95° heat. As you noted, the fan runs a little more but no over heating. I suspect I'll not have a heating problem.
Ford has already added a decent size air over oil transmission oil cooler and then there is a liquid over oil cooler in the left radiator tank. Add the lock up clutch in the torque converter and transmission over heating should not be a problem on older F53s. I've never seen my tranny oil temp over 215°.
