Day 3
The tranny is in the shop.
The gear train will be upgraded, improved friction materials for bands and clutches, new solenoid pack, improvements to the valve body and twin disc lock up torque converter. Plus any thing else John (the owner) thinks it needs. I have a long standing relationship with North Town Transmission, dating back to 1967, when I was in the auto repair trade.
Not much added to the pile of pieces/parts. Just the rear cross member and rear mount.
No pictures today.
Tomorrow I will start digging for the engine. Arrrrrrrrrrrrg!
