Myth that socket extensions change torque wrench readings

For any action there is an equal and opposite reaction. IT'S THE LAW. In the first chapter of your freshman physics book. Any energy lost would be in the form of heat. Extensions, when torque is properly applied at 90 degrees to the bolt will have no effect at all.

The crowfoot wrench only changes the moment arm length, plus, minus or not at all, depending on its position.
