Do you own a smart phone with a data plan? Try the weatherunderground App. News is almost always available on an AM station.

Nope, no soap operas. I like the weather underground app. Where we go there isn't a real big radio signal if it's not from a satellite. After a hard day in the desert or at the
race track a bowl of soup,hot shower and a movie is hard to beat. And that comfy bed.....
