As you said, there are folks here who are completely new at using tools, not just rv stuff, and they may want to follow your example.
Very explicit details and calling out unclear or incomplete details with the potential gotchas is a good way to pass knowledge to each other and the next readers. Most of us have been helped in a number of ways, I know I was.
If you don't mind posting pics, that would be great. The suggestion about using FRP to cover anything that doesn't look the way you want is a good one. Guess how we've learned it? ;)
