Need elec translation

Need electrical translation for “C” and “NC”. I’m installing a pressure switch.
It is a Honeywell (5000 series) part number 76062 15 n/c
I can find some info online but not how to hook up elec to it.
Being it’s electrical I don’t want to guess. Little thing was $70.00

On the back…two screw terminals with letters of “C” and “NC”
I’m thinking “C” for current and “NC” for no current.
But not sure. What do you think?

Thanks for any help.
  • The 5000 series was only made in 4 pressures, from about 15 to 25 psi. NC is normally closed so that switch will shut off at around that pressure.

'C' common aka the connection that gets switched

'NC' normally closed, this one is connected to common right now with no pressure on switch, it will open aka break connection, when pressure builds to the correct level

'NO' normally open, closes to common when when the switch is activated

    X2
