I've come to believe that tight quarters maneuvering is a major cause of wheel/axle/tire failures in tandem (and triple) axle trailers. The strain is horrendous when you scrub the tires sideways in a near-jackknifed maneuver. I broke the wheel bearing end completely off a tandem axle boat trailer that way...Twice.
Also, the Driver Side Wheel Fasteners used to be Left Hand Thread since driving tightens the right side and loosens the left, if both sides are Right Hand Thread.
