Need help with converter replacement

I am going to replace the converter in my 2010 Jayco trailer. It is the old IOTA single stage converter which failed last season. But I’m not sure how to install the new one. The old converter is mounted vertically on the back of the power center. A really short 120v cable connects the breaker to the unit, with no visible connections on the outside. There is also a bus bar attached that all the negative wires are connected to.

Not sure how to proceed. Do I mount the new unit in the same place or find another location? If in another location, then do I need to replace the 120v cable at the breaker?

It would be great if someone who has experience with this could give me a few tips.
