Parallax says to replace the 950 with a 7400 series (deck mount) but now that is going out of production replaced by the 5400 series deck mount ---they are expensive compared with other brand deck mounts available.
IMO a good replacement at low cost for a rig being sold, is the older version of the PowerMax converters (PM3 series- new is PM4 series) such as the 55amper at $115 here
