donn128: The Michelin rep told me I would might have to choose a tire made by another manufacturer, because of the large number of people expected to hit the market at once for this size tire.
parkmanaa: I don't know if the mechanic had super powers or not, but his claim(s) were substantiated by at least two other mechanics. My dealer took pictures of the sidewalls, but never got back to me.
