Need to replace bad converter.. Can I do this?

Hello.. I have a Coleman Caravan from 2001 that the converter just went bad on while camping this past weekend.. Hissing, fizzling..then dead.. no fans, no battery charging. Spent Friday thro...

Depends on the size of your generator. If big enough, yes you can run the whole rig off the generator, but be careful about more than one heavy power draw (A/C and hair dryer) at the same time.
