New A/C is here. Now, how to get it on the roof?

I saw someone mention starting the ladder in the bed of the truck. How much less would it seem to weigh if the ladder was at a 60 degree angle. Engineers? I'm thinking someone pushing and someone p...

I'm a very strong 6'3" guy and I wasn't able to pull the A/C unit up the ladder with a rope by myself. Had to get a buddy to help. He pushed and I pulled.

Definitely use plywood on the roof for protection.
