Well ... on second thought ... I aughta-know what an aught-six is cuz basically that's what I have, 'cept mine is one on steroids and is something like a .600 NE because it's a semi-auto and can fire four in the time the nitro takes to get off one. Does one fourth of a dislocated shoulder repeated four times fast enough equal one whole dislocated shoulder?
Now Mex ... back to converters and alternators. What alternator were you using that gave you a high enough voltage so as to pump 90+ amps into GC batteries? .... or were you talking about A LOT of CG batteries all hooked together and feeding off the alternator at the same time?
I guess my Ford alternator might do it with a hand throttle, but I prefer idling, instead, so as to not flare up any aught-six owners that might happen to be camping nearby.
