That's why I can get by using only ~13.8 volts to charge 200AH of AGM batteries.
My batteries may be able to accept more charging current if the charging voltage was to be higher, but the amount of current they will accept at my voltage is enough for the charging times our camping style requires. Charging as fast as possible is not a requirement for us, and of course there's plenty of other places to spend new-charger-just-for-the-geek-fun-of-it money on.
BTW, I was just joking about the bubbling. I've heard this in our car starting battery maybe only twice in my life. I hope I never hear my Interstate AGMs or Optima bubble - time for the audiologist if I do.
When did you buy a Lifeline? You gonna float it at 13.2 volts?
