BPCM is how Randy spells PMBC, which might stand for PowerMax Battery Charger or somesuch.
The meter on mine is to single decimal place so it rounds up or down compared with a two decimal place meter, and is accurate to that degree wrt a multimeter on the DC ouputs
Turning the knob gets you a reading you want on bench no load, but when charging and you want to change the converter voltage, say from 14.6 to 14.8 you don't see the real voltage because it is mixed in with battery voltage, but reads closer to converter voltage. There is also line loss on the DC wires connecting the charger to battery even if short and fat, when charging at 100amps.
I watch the amps on the Trimetric and if they are lower than usual (say it is very cold out) I go and turn the knob up a bit (accuracy of voltage doesn't matter--just as long as it goes up a bit which you can see on the meter) That makes the amps go higher.
