MEXICOWANDERER

Wanna see a real "Oinker"?
Power an air-cooled engine with LPG. Here's an example.
A 37.5 horsepower V4 Wisconsin engine on LPG. FOUR POINT ONE SIX GALLONS (that's liquid) LPG per H-O-U-R
An ONAN water cooled 4 cyl engine same part number generator, same load, THREE POINT TWO TWO gallons per hour.
Five WAYNE Road Brooms for CalTrans. Same thing. Wisconsin V4. They would not sweep eight hours on twenty gallons of LPG. Sacramento, verified all Wayne road brooms running LPG ate like a Bulgarian in a Pizza contest.
I brought a thoroughly used 2.5 Kw Onan to Mexico (same place as the camping beach) and sold it for $500 without the pot. I warned the good doctor the thing ate propane butane like a starving wolf eats rabbits. A week later he wanted his money back. The same guy who propped up my Servel (sold to him) on milk crates. He went away for 2-weeks came back and found the refrigerator laying on it's side WITH LIT BURNER. He wanted a refund for that too.
Air cooled engines and liquefied petroleum don't like each other. Or, is that they like each other too much?
