Makes sense they would use more propane. I believe the BTU ratings per gallon is less with propane.
I hate dealing with gasoline. It doesn't store well, and I don't use it in my cars. So, I don't have a way to keep it fresh.
So, my generator is tri-fuel - gasoline, propane or natural gas. I don't use it a lot, but I have 20 year old propane that runs it just fine.
