Too many choices and none really satisfying.
Honda EU3000 works perfect for RV with single AC, but too heavy for carrying around.
You can parallel two EU2000, but those have small tanks and will be louder, not to mention the hassle of starting 2 engines and dealing with extra wiring.
Coming to fuel, I have been running my lawnmower on over 1 years old gasoline. But Honda mower has pressurized tank and shut off valve, when before putting the engine for winter storage, I run the carburetor dry.
When in pressurized tank, or can gas is good for at least 2 years with no additives.
Than I think high propane use in engines is not only due the lower energy, but the fact that propane carburetors are still pretty primitive and waste lot of the fuel due to low efficiency.
For other comparison, I have build-in 4000W Generac in my coach, that will take 12 gallons of gasoline to power AC for 12hr.
Honda EU3000 will take 2.5 gallons for the same job.
